Aloha! I'm Jaron Abela Nakashima, a school counselor at Hono'uli'uli Middle school in Hawaii.

ASCA* National Model Components
Define
The Define portion of our school counseling framework includes standards for both students and School counselors. The define section includes the standards that we as school counselors follow to help students reach their goals of success.
Manage
The manage portion of our framework has to do with the collection and use of data. We gather and utilize this data so that we may see where we are lacking and doing well in so that we may best meet the needs of the students.
Deliver
The deliver portion of our school counseling framework explains how we are of service to our students. This includes services that are face to face such as school counseling and behind the scenes services such as scheduling and planning.
Assess
The Assess portion of our framework has to do with the inspection of our school counseling program. By analyzing the effectiveness of our program, we are able to provide the best services and support to our students.
